Another Win for the Wonder Twins!

The Jacksonville EVP event was fantastic! Kim and I stayed with my cousin Jamie, who is like a brother to me. He's a sophomore in college and lives in an apt. 10 minutes from the beach. His place was nice, clean, and very organized. I have to admit, I was VERY surprised! He was our biggest fan for the day and a great host. I am so proud of him and can't wait for him to get out on the beach and start playing some more ball.

Kim and I were playing for the first time together on the EVP Tour since being chosen as a "Poster Player". I had been pretty sick all week, so I knew it was going to be a tough day for both of us. We played hard, communicated well, and stayed aggressive throughout the day. Team Clearwater Beach (Kim and I) won the event, staying in the winners bracket the whole way through.

We played some really great teams. There was a team we played from California (Frohmer/Preston) that we had to play twice. (In the 2nd round and the semis.) They were great players with great attitudes, so both of those matches were a lot of fun. Overall, it was a beautiful day filled with good volleyball and fan support. It was fun to be back in my college town too. Go Dolphins!
